El Chalten
I've been there for 2 days, it's a very nice village in the Glacier Natural Park and from there you can make lots of treks.
The first day I trek to Laguna Capri, next to Cerro Fitz Roy, the view from there is incredibly nice.

Calafate
Today I went to the glacier PERITO MORENO.
It's really the most extraordinady glacier I've ever seen. The waters of the lake are continuously washing the basement so when you look at the glacier you see a white high wall, 65 m high, 5 km wide. Amazing
when going to Calafate a could see 4 grey foxes on the snow (2 and 2) then plenty of yandus (an argentin ostrich) and guanacos.
I've seen condors and avutardas.

BOLIVIA
La Paz
La Paz looks like a roman theater, all the houses around in the mountains and the center in the bottom.
Lluisa and I when coming back frim Tiawanaco walked from El Alto de la Paz to thr bottom and the view was marvelous
We couldn't see Evo Morales in la Paz because he har alreadu left ahen we arrived at the governement house, so we went to COCHABAMBA
There we went to see the "desfile", and we could take nice pictures from him.
SUCRE and POTOSI are very nice and colonial cold towns
Then we went to UYUNI where we took a tour to Salar the Uyuni and Chily. The Salar the Uyuni is incredible nice, so white and large. The Pescado island is in the middle of it, it's volcanic and has plenty of "cardones".
After leaving the salar we visited the Lagoons: Colorada, Verde, Blanca, Hedionda they are very very nice and colorful.
We climbed up to the Licancabur volcano nearly 6000 m high, that was a very goog experiencem very tiring, we slept in a cabin next to the volcano and we start walking at 4 in the morning.
